About Us
Kriya
– Meaning “Purposeful work” is aimed at helping children create and develop themselves through scientifically tested methodologies.
Kriya’s curriculum includes practical life, sensorial, history, geography, math, science, technology and language. With our proprietary reading program, most children are able to read by age 4 if they join us from the Young Children’s community.
Distinctive enrichment programs include art, music, character, yoga, baby signs, foreign language, pottery, story telling, puppetry and many more to introduce your child to the different flavours of the world.
The Journey began with two passionate women from different streams who joined hands to create a community of better outcomes for children where education would be looked upon as an Aide to Life.
Ms. Aishwarya Eshwar
holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology. She worked in a few MNC’s as a HR specialist before venturing into Montessori. She always had been keenly interested in working with children and has worked with them in many occasions in the past through various streams such as storytelling, puppetry, drama etc.
It was through a child that she got interested to study the Montessori curriculum and completed the Infancy Course for 0-3 years age group with the AMI, Netherlands
and 3 to 6 years with IMTC, Bangalore.
She has also worked in a couple of renowned schools as she kept passionately dreaming and building the foundation for Kriya.
At Kriya,
we have a team of trained Associate Montessori Internationale (AMI)
and IMTC (Indian Montessori Training Centre)
facilitators who guide children in their classrooms to enable self-discovery.
This holistic approach aids the child by providing an environment which boosts their morale turning them into independent and integrated individuals. We provide children with the freedom to choose work, communicate and move to help them fine-tune skills like decision-making, social skills, etc.
The quality of our trained teachers’s presentation will stimulate and reflect the child’s attention and interest. We actively explore our diversified culture by promoting equality of gender, race, religion and learning style. Our diverse community of children, families and staff members will inspire the commitment of the child towards personal integrity and excellence.
Kriya
will soon be expanding its support for children of six years of age and above. Children will grow into leaders and explore the world as we branch out and grow towards the upcoming classes.
